Went on a college trip to new york on monday. It was menage! Lots of things were done and lots of stuff was had. Thoughts on it were that american food is terrible(apart from bagels), too much sugar. Soft drinks taste funny. Weird lack of choice in fruit juice but fresh smoothie carts make up for it. Duane Reid. Love the Met. Love Chelsea. Love the Bears. Love the Dogs. Love the subway. Very easy to get around. Inspiring artwork. Too much fucking picasso, it's everywhere. Best big gallery = MoMa. Guggenheim a little disappointing. Security guards everywhere = annoying. Drinking age = annoying. Bagels are yummy. American toilets are fucking weird. As are the urinals.

The weekend before had some terrible omens for NY though, I ripped a sofa, broke a TV(sort of, pushed the button in too far), hit my head on kitchen counter and then got ill. Luckily it was a 24 hour fever thing. Strangeness that it was all in one day.

Wooo so stuff happens haha. I bought a camera of my very own! It will of course be very valuable over the next year and has already been for my current prep project. I am taking pictures of sunsets with it so whilst on a walk this morning around where I live I took a lot of photos just seeing what it could do. They aren't that great but i've only just started really. Got some really good sunrise ones which I might upload more of.

I'm totally becoming such a space cadet. I am getting involved at school in music more, we're doing a les mis in a day workshoppy thing and I'm being involved in that. Art is a drag tbh, can't wait for art college though sad news, nick has word of his interview and I don't. quelle gay.

In other news I am becoming supremo gay what with buying pants from these guys:

Went to see REGINA SPEKTOR on sunday, It was the best ever, I think I love her. I have a newfound love of commas. Wrote an essay for RS in the period before on Jodo Buddhism vs. Zen, Mucho interestingo, sort of. Have to do philosophy in extra time after school so I'm never gonna be able to join the photography group it being taken up by choir and philosophy. I blame the rev. Sexual Lucy had a party on friday and the theme was fairies so we all made wings and shit, well cool. I was without a wand though so a lovely girl called Claire gave me a pipecleaner rose! I met lovely people from church again and new lovely people from church too yet had to leave early :(.

I got called a "character" today, is that good or bad? I am also in need of a new haircut as I decided I like it short, any suggestions? I know that will get 0 answers cause I've asked before but meh. I am way too indecisive about these things. Didn't do anything at all on saturday, that was lame.

Yeeah... so I might not be eating properly or I might be anaemic or I might be depressed or I might just be a teenager. I hope for the last one but then I can't really do much about it. I think it would be a lot more helpful if school started an hour later. Getting up at 7 kills me... waah. I shall not resort to coffee (mantra) or other substances easily depended upon. Should I make that Doctor's appointment?

Totally doing my Art college application form, have to write a mini personal statement. That's gunna be fun. Scared about next year ah well.

Need more candles, ala gwendraith. Need some incense. Need to start going to the local meditation thing as Charlotta and James have failed me. My bedroom needs decorating still since moving in. I want a French boudoir feel with chansons playing loudly haha. I have an urge to wear make-up again but still no drag, I should go into theatre or something so I can have an excuse.

I ~~want~~ need to be in a band, acoustic, funk, rock. I don't care just need a heavier singing outlet. I really feel like my potential is being limited all round and that I really don't have anyone to blame but myself. Totally frustrating especially for a teenager. I also feel like I'm getting dumber haha, was going to reply to gerald_duck's post about God the other day but then felt utterly inadequate and decided not to.

Sunday was quite enjoyable, it was funny as we didn't really know the hymns and such but enjoyable. I really like the Pie Jesu by Faure the sopranos sang. I also managed to avoid an awkward body and blood moment with the communion bit never having been to a communion service before. Also found a love of John Tavener... well "Little Lamb" anyway. It's gorgeous.

Gun crime Watched a documentary on channel 4 today about it, made me angry and stuffs. I also learnt the majority of 50cents audience are white people, at the concerts anywho.

In other news I'm singing with the school choir at the cathedral tommorow morning hurraaaay gothic. Totally got some cool pants, they have pigs on. Wore a white poppy on friday. Discovered coffee is good for creativeness. Haven't had a cup for many a year. Sad that it is addictive. Still very wary of it.

My Agnus Dei is weird. Totally making it more tonal, needs to be easier to sing haha. Have to invite the school choir to sing it. Have to formally request use of revs equipment. Growing up is annoying, stupid responsibility haha.
